Meet Emma
I’m Emma and I am a member of both the New Wave Rainbow Pride group and New Wave Leongatha.
I’m part of the LGBTIQA+ community and have been since I was 16. I’m proud to be part of that community and I’m proud to be openly bisexual.
1. Why did you join New Wave?
Because I feel strongly about people with disability having self advocacy.

3. Why is Self-Advocacy important to you?
Because I feel like people with intellectual disabilities and brain injuries don’t always get to speak their mind.
